My first question about angels deals with what are the types of angels?
“Question just because you’re a woman can you have a man angel? Do you have both man and woman angels to one person?”
Answer: There are only angels; angels have neither male nor female reproductive systems (Matthew 22:30). However, angels are considered to be masculine or feminine though. For example, James spoke of patience and said, "let patience have HER perfect work…" (James 1:4). Here he’s speaking of patience in the feminine sense. Furthermore, in Greek, nouns are feminine, masculine, or neuter. This shows the personality of the spirit (angel) that is ministering or functioning. Patience is mentioned as feminine showing both her gentle and kind attributes.
You will have all three types of angels (masculine,
feminine, and neuter) ministering to you from time-to-time until the
resurrection (Matthew 22:30; Hebrews 1:14).
You may have one spirit assigned to you from conception throughout eternity, hence
The Angel of the Lord .
This angel will be the same as you are: if you’re a female you will have a
feminine angel assigned to you. If you’re a male you will have a masculine. Depending
on your anointing and destiny you will have multiple angels assigned to you.
There are different types of angels assigned according to season(s).
We all must walk through the Valley of Circumcision.(See Abraham Father of Faith.) This is where Christ
Himself separates us from the things of this world (Colossians 2:11). Angels of
refining are sent to us in this season of our lives. We often associate this season
with trials. We see Noah (Genesis
and even Jesus (Matthew 4:1-11) go through this.
There are different types of angels assigned to us according to anointing and
giftings. People like Kenneth Copeland who
flow in the power gifts
will have angels who flow in the same gifts. This explains how Jesus was able
to heal thousands of people simultaneously. Imagine trying to lay hands on
20,000 people all at once or in one setting. This is too exhausting for any one
person. Flowing with angels in the power gifts you can have 20,000 angels all
flowing in a power gift each ministering to one person. Or you can have one
angel flowing in the power gifts ministering to 20,000 people.
However, they do have the power to re-procreate. That’s how giants came on the earth (Gen 6:1-2, 4).
Heb 1:14 reads “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” We fully receive our salvation on the day of the resurrection (Mat 22:30; John 11. :25-26); when we shall be like Christ (1 John 3:2). Both Heb 1:14 and Rom 8:18-23 make it clear we have yet to receive our salvation in its complete manifestation; spirit, soul, and body.
When the Bible makes references to “The Angel of the Lord” this is speaking of the angel specifically created for Jesus Himself, or we could say Jesus’ angel. There are other types of angels. For instance, the Father once had an angel too, Lucifer. This was the Father’s right-hand man who chose to rebel (Isa 14:11-21). We never see Lucifer replaced in Scripture. For further study Exodus 3:2, 23:23.
Luke 22:43 reads “And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him”. Notice it reads from heaven showing this angel wasn’t in the earth. He was in heaven and received an assignment to strengthen Jesus. This angel was released to Jesus in one particular season. Can you imagine how much joy this angel must have received being able to strengthen the Son of God? Notice this is an angel. This isn’t The Angel of the Lord, or Gabriel, or Michael. This is what I would refer to as a nobody angel. The Holy Spirit never thought it was important to give his name. Contrast this with The Angel of the Lord who came into the earth during the Exodus of Egypt. This is Jesus own personal angel. Created for Jesus Himself. After Jesus resurrected he must have went home to heaven with Jesus.
Can you imagine the intense pressure on Noah? He went through something that no human being should ever go through. Once it started raining, and God shut the door (Gen 7:16), can you imagine; people screaming, yelling, and pounding on the ark trying to get in but to no avail. Noah had to endure that. And when he came out of the ark, there had to be dead bodies everywhere. He must had suffered PTSD. See Covenant of Noah.
The entire book of Job.
The power gifts are gifts of healings (1 Cor 12:9), the gift of faith (1 Cor 12:9), and the gift of working of miracles (1 Cor 12:10).
In 2 Kings 19:35 we see one angel kill 185,000 people. If one angel is able to accomplish this imagine one angel being filled with the power gifts.
